This session will look at the definition of BDD and its symptoms, how it affects individuals mentally and emotionally, the relevance of BDD to aesthetic medicine, assessing patients with BDD, refusal of surgery, and addiction – strategies of how to avoid this behaviour best.
Specifically focusing on assisting our members with the skills and knowledge needed to address BDD effectively in aesthetic medicine and provide holistic patient care.
