BCAM is a registered charity that is committed to provide the public with accurate, factual informational about aesthetic medicine and its treatments, the most popular of which are fillers and botulinum toxin injection (such as Botox, Vistabel, Dysport, Bocouture, and Azzalure). Our members strive to maintain the highest standards of treatment and safe, ethical practice.
BCAM started life as the British Association of Cosmetic Doctors in 2001 to encourage regulation in aesthetic medicine and make it as safe as possible for the general public.
All BCAM members are licenced to practice by either the General Medical Council (GMC) or General Dental Council (GDC) and must fulfil BCAM membership criteria including attendance at regular educational and scientific meetings and participation in the Annual Clinical Review.
BCAM has a dedicated voluntary Board of Trustees offering a breadth of experience and knowledge, promoting innovative ideas and measures to protect its members and the public.
