Affiliate Doctors

  • All evidence MUST be sent to tracy.hilton@bcam.ac.uk via email or post in order to complete your application
  • You will need to provide two references, both from individual UK Registered Healthcare Professionals who have known you in a professional capacity for at least two years or more.
  • Evidence of GMC Registration, this can be obtained by visiting the GMC website and following the link to “check a Doctors registration status”
  • Your CV must be up to date and show your FULL scope of work including ALL qualifications, training and posts held
  • Your Enhanced DBS Certificate (ORIGINAL copy of your DBS must be sent via post to Shorne Village Surgery, Crown Lane, Shorne, Kent DA12 3DY. This will be sent back to you once photocopied) must be no more than 6 months old on application. If you do not have an Enhanced DBS Certificate, you can obtain one by contacting CRB Disclosures on 01782 620000 who will make an application for you.
  • A valid Medical Indemnity/Insurance Certificate. Please make sure that your current certificate has not expired. Your Certificate MUST show a minimum of £5million cover for non-invasive cosmetic procedures and £10million for those carrying out invasive surgical procedures.
  • You will need to provide a copy of your last Medical appraisal document.
  • Supporting Evidence – not mandatory but may help your application. Please provide any certificates of Training or Educational meetings you have attended to support your application
  • Please make sure you have all of the required documentation in PDF format. You will also need a credit or debit card to make the online registration payment. All documentation will need to be sent via email to tracy.hilton@bcam.ac.uk or by post to Shorne Village Surgery, Crown Lane, Shorne, Kent DA12 3DY
  • I wish to apply for Associate Membership of the British College of Aesthetic Medicine. I give permission for the College to seek information from any third party to verify my eligibility, standing or qualification for membership.

    I declare there are no past or pending cases against me by the GMC or any regulator in the UK or abroad.

    If I am accepted as an Associate Member, I agree:

    • To be bound by the Articles of Association of the Company and all Regulations adopted by the College.
    • To receive company notices, votes, polls and general correspondence in electronic form.
    • That the College may send or supply documents or information by making them available through its website.

    I understand that acceptance is at the absolute discretion of the Board.

    My application must be received in accordance with the Administrative & Member Conduct Regulations, Clause 4 which states “The Board shall only be required to consider applications for membership which are submitted not less than 60 days before the date of a Board meeting. The Board shall only be required to consider applications of any sort where the prescribed application form has been completed correctly in full, all required documents and evidence has been provided to the satisfaction of the Board and any specified application fee has been paid in full”.

  • Initial membership fee of £250.00 is NON-REFUNDABLE, therefore all applicants must take responsibility to provide all of the required evidence/documentation.
